Teddy Bear Clinics
Kindergarten classes throughout Kit Carson County visit Kit Carson County Memorial Hospital to learn what it is like to come to the hospital. They tour the imaging department, laboratory department, emergency room, learn about the importance of handwashing, and while their teddy bear is being examined the students learn about the equipment in a doctor's office. Each student also receives a KCCHSD teddy bear!
